Wash & Repair

Nomad Rugs is pleased to provide a wash and repair service.

Wash: We hand-wash all rugs at the cost of $3.25 per square foot. Bring your rug by the shop and we will have it ready for you in one to two weeks. Pet stains or other severe stains necessitate an additional charge. There is a minimum charge of $40 for small rugs.

Repair: For small repairs, bring your rug by the shop for an estimate. Most repair jobs are completed within two weeks. Typical repair jobs are rebinding selvage and ends, re-fringing and securing small holes.

Restoration: Nomad Rugs also provides reweaving and restoration for antique rugs. We work closely with our repair people in Konya, Turkey to produce seamless repair. Rugs with sizeable holes, lost pile or tears can all be restored. Because of the skill and time required for such jobs, we prefer to have this work done in Turkey. Restoration projects typically take from two to six months.
