Pakistan: Afghan refugees based in Pakistan's Frontier province weave these beautiful carpets. They are woven with traditional Persian and Mughal designs and the finest materials including hand-spun wool which is hand-dyed in small batches. Because of the soft colors used and the subtle abrash, these pieces resemble antique carpets from the 19th century.
