Pakistan: All natural dyes. These rugs are woven with traditional Persian and Mughal designs and the finest materials including all natural plant dyes. Because of the soft colors used and the subtle abrash, these pieces resemble antique carpets from the 19th century. The wool is entirely hand-carded and hand-spun to ensure durablity; washed only with mild soap and water. These rugs are woven by expert Afghan weavers in a small cooperative production in Northern Pakistan.
