Pakistan: All natural dyes. This classic tribal rug features Ersari Turkmen designs. It was woven in a small cooperative weaving project in Pakistan run by Afghan Turkmen weavers. Great care was taken to make this rug as beautiful and long lasting as the highly esteemed antique Ersari carpets found in many collections. For this reason, only rich natural dyes and strong hand-spun Central Asian wool were used in the creation of this carpet.
