Skilled Afghan weavers produce these colorful carpets in Pakistan. The handspun Ghazni wool used in these pieces give the carpets a wonderful abrash. The designs are modeled on antique Caucasian rugs and their name is taken from the Kazak weaving district located in the Caucuses.
